Joseph Bayliss - Assistant Resident Director

Hello everyone! My name is Joseph Bayliss, and I am 53 years old. I've been part of the mission for three years now, with this February marking the start of my journey. I am a repeater, currently going through the program for the second time. I originally graduated in 2019, and at that time, I had hoped to say I was completely delivered from my struggles. However, life had other plans, and I found myself faltering once again.

Fortunately, the Lion's Den was there for me, welcoming me back with open arms. This time around, I realized that during my first stint, I hadn't fully surrendered to God. I knew deep down that I couldn't return to my old life. This time, my commitment to God is absolute. I have given myself entirely to Him, surrendering everything.

In this new phase of my life, I've taken on the role of Assistant Resident Director. I've discovered a newfound joy and purpose, driven by a desire to help others find the freedom that Jesus has granted me. Being a part of this family and community is a tremendous blessing.

God has been gracious in restoring my relationships and giving me a clear purpose in life. Now, I feel truly blessed and am excited about what the future holds. My journey is a testament to God's glory, and I am eager to spend my life helping others in their pursuit of Jesus.
