Our Staff
Almost all of our staff are graduates of the discipleship training program. They do not receive any salary, but work as missionaries, giving back their life to serve the Lord by reaching out to others. The Assistant Executive Directors at each center work directly with the Executive Director to train the staff, oversee the general condition of the buildings and raise the necessary support, as well as teach, counsel, etc. Each center also has a “Chain of command” of staff members that all have very specific jobs over looking the house. From Resident director to an Overseer who is in charge of daily operations. Anyone seeking admission into a center needs to call the Overseer at that center.
Rev. Steve Schwartz

At the helm of Mission Teens Inc. stands Rev. Steve Schwartz, the Executive Director entrusted with the formidable responsibility of overseeing the Assistant Executive Directors across all 20 Mission Teens Centers spanning the United States. Diligently carrying forth the vision laid down by our founder, Jim Bracken, since 1969, Steve dedicates a significant portion of his year to traversing various centers and attending graduation ceremonies. His unwavering commitment to the mission of reshaping lives through the potency of faith serves as an inspiration to the entire community. As he perseveres in this invaluable endeavor, we extend our gratitude and humbly request that you hold him and his wife Barbara in your prayers.
James & Brittany DeArmond
Assistant Executive Directors
James DeArmond is a graduate of the residential and staff of Mission Teens. James was born and raised in Greenville Kentucky and through loved ones received help at Crossville MBTC. His wife, Brittany, is also a residential and staff graduate of Mission Teens. She was born and raised in South Jersey and entered Crossville MBTC. Both had tried for years to try to live free of alcohol and drugs that had no long-term success. They are now both dedicated to advancing God's kingdom through the work of Mission Teens, and are the Executive Directors at The Lion’s Den M.B.T.C.
Matthew & Rebecca Baldauf
Resident Directors
Matthew and Rebecca Baldauf are both graduates of the residential and staff program of Mission teens. Matthew was born and raised in the Fox cities of Wisconsin and found his way to The Lion’s Den Mission Bible Training Center where he received help and graduated both the residential and the staff program. His wife, Rebecca, was born and raised in South New Jersey. Rebecca was a transfer from our sister center in Norma New Jersey, she graduated from both residential and staff programs at The Lions Den Mission Bible Training Center. Both Matthew and Rebecca are now Resident Directors at The Lion’s Den M.B.T.C.
